MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE & ADVANCED MASSAGES

Manual Lymphatic Drainage & Advanced Massages

The lymphatic system is a network of tissue, vessels, and organs that help rid the body of toxins, waste, and other unwanted material. Each component of the lymphatic system helps move lymph, a colorless watery fluid, back into the bloodstream for detoxification. This process is done by lymphatic massage.

Manual Lymphatic drainage is a sequence of gentle massage strokes which helps to stimulate the flow of fluid (lymph) throughout the lymphatic system. Facilitating the flow of fluids helps remove toxins from the body. These massages also help prevents swelling, discomfort, bloating, pain, and, most importantly, fibrosis. This technique is usually delivered over a 1-hour session and produces the best results when initiated 1-2 days post-op if your doctor approves it. Optimal results come from multiple sessions that will vary from client to client.Benefits of lymphatic drainage massage include:
⦁ Decreases inflammation
⦁ Lower the risk of fibrosis
⦁ Reduces scar formation and bruising
⦁ Removes excess water and waste
⦁ Stress reliever and supports relaxation
⦁ Helps with pain relief
⦁ Improves blood circulation
⦁ Stimulates the immune system

Our post-op massages are performed to reach the client’s desired results after a cosmetic procedure such as a tummy tuck, liposuction, Brazilian butt lift, facelift, breast augmentation, etc. Remember surgeons only do half of the work, the rest is up to you let us help you reach your full potential.

STAPLE REMOVAL (In Suite)

Staple removal must be cleared by your physician prior to treatment.

SUTURE REMOVAL (In suite)

Suture removal must be cleared by your physician prior to treatment.

SEROMA TREATMENT.

Seroma is a buildup of fluid under the surface of the skin. Seromas can be treated using different methods. Untreated seromas can lead to complicating drainage, fibrosis, and infection.

we don’t recommend waiting weeks to have your seroma evaluated. If a seroma is left untreated for too long, your body could form a fibrous capsule around it, which is harder to correct. Call your surgeon for more instructions if in doubt.

WOUND CARE

Optimal management of surgical wounds is an important part of post-operative recovery, our nurses will monitor your process of acute wound healing, prevent wound complications and coordinate with your Doctor if complications arise.
